Program Overview
Internship Duration: 10–12 weeks
Location: New advanced technology assembly and packaging site in New Albany, Ohio
This graduate-level summer internship combines project-based learning and professional development in Amgen’s Operations organization, which includes:
Supply Chain
Process Development
Manufacturing
Quality
Facilities & Engineering
Your work will support the successful delivery of this state-of-the-art facility while driving key initiatives in cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will:
Develop a project charter outlining objectives, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
Collaborate across departments to:
Identify problems
Analyze current processes
Develop recommendations using qualitative and quantitative methods
Present findings in formats such as:
Executive readouts
Intern-wide poster sessions
Receive ongoing professional development through:
1:1 mentoring
Training sessions
Networking events
Exposure to Amgen’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
Basic Qualifications
To qualify for this graduate internship, you must:
Be 18 years or older
Have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Be currently enrolled in one of the following programs at an accredited university:
MBA (Master of Business Administration)
Master’s program
PharmD
PhD program
Have completed at least one year of the applicable graduate program by the start of the internship
Be enrolled full-time in your graduate program after the internship
Be located in the U.S. for the entire internship duration
Not be employed at the start of the internship
Preferred Qualifications
Expected graduation in Summer 2027
Academic focus in:

Technical skills:
