Role Overview

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate to join its global drug safety team. This role is ideal for recent graduates in pharmacy or life sciences who are interested in building a long-term career in pharmacovigilance and patient safety. The position offers hands-on exposure to global safety databases, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration within an international environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process adverse event and safety data in global pharmacovigilance databases using source documentation and medical knowledge.

  • Perform quality control reviews to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with international pharmacovigilance and clinical data teams to maintain high reporting standards and operational efficiency.

  • Support initiatives aimed at improving innovation and efficiency within Safety and Clinical Data Management Services.

  • Participate in structured training programs to develop knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes, regulations, and global safety requirements.


Experience Required

  • 0–1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical research (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

  • Prior academic exposure or internships in pharmacovigilance or regulatory affairs are an advantage but not mandatory.


Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Very good written and spoken English, including medical terminology proficiency.

  • Very good written and spoken Polish (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of French is considered an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and regulatory guidelines is desirable; comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multicultural team environment.
