Job Summary

ICON Strategic Solutions, part of ICON plc, a globally recognized healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization, is hiring a Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate for its remote operations in Mexico. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking to build a long-term career in pharmacovigilance and drug safety within a global CRO environment.

The Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate will support safety surveillance activities by assisting with adverse event processing, safety reporting, and regulatory compliance, while receiving structured training and professional development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the collection, review, and processing of adverse event and safety data in accordance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and internal procedures

  • Assist in the preparation, quality review, and submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely communication of safety information

  • Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and updating of pharmacovigilance documentation, including SOPs and safety management plans

  • Participate in training programs to develop knowledge of global pharmacovigilance practices, regulatory guidelines, and compliance standards


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline

  • 0–1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, clinical research, or a related healthcare field

  • Fresh graduates with strong academic background and interest in pharmacovigilance are encouraged to apply

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance concepts and regulatory guidelines is preferred but not mandatory (training will be provided)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
