About the Role
As a Global Clinical Development Strategy Expert (GCDSE), you will lead clinical trials and programs in the development of a pentavalent meningococcal vaccine. You will be responsible for translating the target product profile into a feasible Clinical Development Plan (CDP) while taking into account scientific environment, resources, and clinical feasibility. Your role will require scientific expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to understand business needs and translate them into operational plans.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific and clinical leadership in the design and development of clinical studies and programs for Sanofi Vaccines R&D.

  • Lead the clinical study team and take ownership of the Clinical Strategy and CDPs for projects/programs.

  • Ensure CDPs align with the Target Product Profile (TPP), Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP), and Franchise/Global Project Team strategy.

  • Establish the conditions to ensure the safety of all subjects involved in Clinical trials.

  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance in the region/country in which you operate.

About You

  • Education & Experience:

    • MD or equivalent, with training in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Immunology, or Infectious Diseases preferred.

    • 3+ years in the pharmaceutical industry or conducting early and late-stage clinical trials in an academic environment.

    • Scientific productivity (publications, research reports, etc.) preferred.

    • Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and operating across multiple interfaces in a matrix environment.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.

    • Ability to inspire and manage multi-cultural teams.

    • Fluent in English (both written and oral).

    • Independent work style and ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment.
