GP Sales Representative – Canberra

Location: Canberra, Australia (including Woden, Tuggeranong, Queanbeyan, Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Leeton, Tumut)
Experience: 1+ year preferred in pharma or territory-based sales
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Mode: On-site (Field-based role)


Job Summary:

Novo Nordisk is seeking a passionate and driven GP Sales Representative to promote innovative diabetes and obesity treatments across the Canberra region. This field-based role involves developing lasting relationships with General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Diabetes Educators while driving the adoption of life-changing therapies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote diabetes and obesity treatments to GPs, pharmacists, and diabetes educators

  • Execute an effective territory business plan aligned with marketing strategies

  • Build strong, patient-focused relationships with healthcare professionals

  • Conduct group presentations and educate HCPs on product benefits

  • Monitor competitor activity and report market insights

  • Maintain ethical sales practices aligned with internal policies and local regulations

  • Travel regularly within the assigned territory, including regional areas


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in territory-based sales or healthcare sales is preferred

  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and sales targets in a competitive environment

  • Strong data interpretation and communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license with readiness to travel

  • Residency: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
