Front Office Assistant – Primary Care

Job Overview

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a dedicated Front Office Assistant to support daily operations within its Primary Care practice. This role provides essential administrative and non-clinical support to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Working under the supervision of the Practice Manager or Front Office Supervisor, the position requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to follow established procedures with a degree of independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of front-office and administrative duties to support the physician practice.

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, appointment scheduling, and basic documentation.

  • Coordinate communication between patients, clinical teams, and office staff to maintain smooth operations.

  • Maintain accurate records, handle inquiries, and uphold confidentiality and service standards.

  • Support front-office functions in alignment with organizational policies and workflow requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Associate’s Degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in a medical office setting, required.

  • An Associate’s Degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.

Licenses & Certifications

  • None required.
