Front Office Assistant – Primary Care
Job Overview
Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a dedicated Front Office Assistant to support daily operations within its Primary Care practice. This role provides essential administrative and non-clinical support to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Working under the supervision of the Practice Manager or Front Office Supervisor, the position requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to follow established procedures with a degree of independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a range of front-office and administrative duties to support the physician practice.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, appointment scheduling, and basic documentation.
Coordinate communication between patients, clinical teams, and office staff to maintain smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records, handle inquiries, and uphold confidentiality and service standards.
Support front-office functions in alignment with organizational policies and workflow requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in a medical office setting, required.
An Associate’s Degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.
