About the Role

IQVIA is hiring a Field Specialist / Surgical Tech Educator to provide clinical education and professional product support in hospital and operating room settings. This role involves training physicians, nurses, and non-clinical staff on the safe and effective use of medical products across multiple portfolios.

As part of the MedTech client team, you’ll collaborate closely with field sales reps, building clinical credibility and delivering insights through education and analytics. Your ability to foster strong working relationships with healthcare professionals is essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Educate and train end-users on the safe, effective use of medical products.

  • Deliver in-service training sessions and clinical product demonstrations.

  • Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff in hospitals and ORs.

  • Develop strong working relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with field sales teams to support product adoption.

  • Provide data-driven insights and deploy analytics to support education efforts.

  • Conduct formal presentations for both large and small groups.

  • Serve as an extension of the client’s MedTech field team.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required

  • Operating Room Surgical Technologist certification preferred

  • 2–3 years of experience in Medical Sales or as a Surgical Tech required; 3–5 years preferred

  • Experience with surgical leadership or management is a plus

  • Strong clinical presentation and training skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Highly organized with strong time and territory management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

  • Valid driver’s license required

Work Schedule & Travel

  • Flexible schedule required, including occasional nights and weekends

  • Travel required: approximately 50%


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (dependent on qualifications, location, and experience)

  • Bonus eligible based on performance

  • Potential for additional incentive plans, bonuses, and health/welfare benefits
