Job Title: Facilities and Administration Manager
Location: Hyderabad, India

Purpose of the Job:

This position will report directly to the LCCI Hyderabad site leader and will be responsible for the digital enablement of end-to-end Administration, Facilities, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) objectives at the LCCI Hyderabad site. The role includes managing Central Facilities Management, Space Management, Security, General Administration, HSE Policy Formulation, Process Improvements, Infrastructure Development, Annual Budgeting, Cost Control, Maintenance Contracts, Vendor Management, Real Estate and Lease Agreements, Housekeeping, Cafeteria Services, Transport, Company Events, and ensuring compliance with audits and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure all facilities, buildings, equipment, and systems are digitally enabled, properly maintained, and in good working condition. Manage repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Space Management: Optimize space usage within facilities, coordinating office moves and reconfiguring workspaces based on employee needs.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers (e.g., security, janitorial, landscaping) to deliver high-quality services. Ensure compliance with Lilly’s procurement process.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections, manage safety drills, and oversee emergency response procedures.
  • Security & Safety: Implement security measures, maintain emergency preparedness plans, and manage defensive driving programs and hazardous waste records.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage the facilities budget (OPEX and CAPEX), monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Project Management: Oversee facility-related projects such as renovations, expansions, and relocations. Coordinate with stakeholders to manage timelines and budgets.
  • Event Management & Real Estate Leasing: Ensure smooth execution of company events and manage real estate lease agreements.
  • Transport & Relocation: Plan logistics for key stakeholder site visits, including transportation, accommodation, and housekeeping. Manage employee relocation in line with company policy.
  • HSE Audits: Prepare and support global/site-related audits for admin, health, safety, and environment. Ensure compliance and drive continuous improvements based on audit findings.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; specialized degree in Employee Health, Safety, and Environment is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 9+ years of experience in administration, facilities management, or HSE-related roles within a corporate environment.
  • Strong leadership and vendor management capabilities, with a focus on HSE goals.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience in preparing high-quality reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, set up processes from scratch, and collaborate across functions.

  • Travel: 0-10% within India
  • Position is based at the Eli Lilly Hyderabad office.
