Job Description:
As part of EVERSANA’s collaboration with Accord BioPharma, the Oncology Account Specialist (OAS) will play a critical role in the launch of a new prostate cancer treatment within the oncology therapeutic category. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, including Urology and Oncology specialists. The OAS will deliver key product information, clinical data, and selling messages to targeted healthcare providers, all while supporting a strategic launch plan in their assigned geographic area. The OAS will be responsible for driving sales, enhancing product awareness, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship-building.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete advanced product training to gain a comprehensive understanding of disease states, product features, and core selling messages.
  • Develop expertise in clinical selling techniques and effectively communicate product value to healthcare providers.
  • Accountable for achieving sales targets and ensuring positive interactions with targeted customers.
  • Prioritize and manage a large geographic territory to deliver impactful sales results.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with exceptional service, addressing needs promptly and professionally.
  • Provide feedback to team leadership on areas for improvement and business development.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, PDMA, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and business growth.

Expectations of the Job:

  • Travel: Up to 50% may be required
  • Position Type: Full-time, Exempt
  • Location: Based in the assigned territory

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or healthcare industry, with a preference for specialty pharmaceuticals.
    • Recent experience in Urology and/or Oncology is required.
    • Experience with Buy-and-Bill sales (reimbursement and distribution) is necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Outlook, Salesforce Automation, and the Microsoft Suite of applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product launches and specialty injectable products.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Knowledge in Account Management and market access.
  • Proven track record of success in sales.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $110,000 to $170,000 (base salary).
