Job Description:
Are you a seasoned health economics and market access expert with experience leading submissions to NICE, SMC, NCPE, HAS, and G-BA? Do you have a passion for strategy and providing advice to pharma/biotech clients? Are you comfortable with scientific selling and possess strong leadership skills? If so, this is your chance to step up and take on a new challenge in health economics and market access (HEOR) within EVERSANA’s growing European team.

As a leader in our HEOR division, you will oversee and guide strategic initiatives, lead teams, and help build a dynamic market access function. Supported by our 150-person strong Canadian team, you will have access to top-tier expertise in systematic reviews, ITCs, global economic models, and medical writing. Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts and scientifically sell new work to both new and existing clients.
  • Manage project teams, provide client advice, and oversee project proposals.
  • Supervise junior staff and contractors, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality work.
  • Lead projects with minimal supervision, taking ownership of project scope and navigating any challenges that arise.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement strategies for best practices in project execution.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members while managing their development.
  • Play an active role in hiring and staffing decisions, as well as managing workloads across projects.
  • Oversee operational activities, such as group and committee management.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions on company direction and resource allocation.
  • Help the team achieve revenue goals between $1M and $3M.
  • All other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • MSc or PhD in a medical or mathematical-related field (e.g., biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, statistics).
  • 8+ years of experience in health economics, health research, or a related field, ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with statistical programming software (e.g., VBA) is a plus.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to effectively supervise, train, and mentor junior team members.
  • Familiarity with current trends in health economics, data analytics, and medical writing.
