Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Life Cycle Management: Lead the brand lifecycle of existing and new products with a focus on growth planning.

  • Strategy Development: Create a strategic roadmap for the rare disease portfolio to enhance business impact.

  • Brand Plan Execution: Implement brand plans and multi-channel campaigns informed by customer insights.

  • Analytics Utilization: Leverage analytics to identify business trends, growth strategies, and risk mitigation.

  • Financial Accountability: Manage financial metrics including revenue, budgets, and brand profitability.

  • Stakeholder Identification: Engage critical stakeholders to enhance business expansion and build strategic partnerships.


New Product Launch Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Identification: Analyze market and therapy area trends to propose viable new business opportunities.

  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for products addressing unmet needs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner across teams and with external stakeholders for successful product launches.

  • Capability Building: Identify stakeholder needs and craft measurable strategies to strengthen engagement.


Operational Responsibilities:

  • Implementation Plan: Oversee execution of brand strategies and monitor performance against service level agreements.

  • Marketing Campaigns: Design and cascade innovative campaigns, and train sales teams to optimize delivery.

  • External Liaison: Work with agencies to ensure brand initiatives align with audience needs.

  • Performance Monitoring: Use business intelligence tools to track outcomes and adapt strategies as required.

  • Budget Utilization: Plan and allocate marketing budgets for maximum ROI.

  • Sales Team Support: Provide timely market and brand insights to support sales growth and performance goals.

  • Scientific Relationships: Build and sustain professional relationships with KOLs, government bodies, and medical institutions.

  • Field Visits: Conduct regular visits to gather insights and ensure effective campaign execution.


Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Process Compliance: Ensure all brand strategies comply with Pfizer policies and industry regulations.

  • Content Validation: Collaborate with Medical and Marketing teams for compliant and validated content creation.

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk evaluations and design mitigation plans.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Align all brand communications with regulatory requirements.


Basic Qualifications:

  • MBA in Marketing

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in brand/product management, preferably in Rare Diseases, Endocrinology, or specialty therapeutic areas

  • Strong understanding of Indian pharmaceutical and healthcare landscape

  • Experience in working with government stakeholders and senior decision-makers

  • Proven expertise in areas like hematology, hemophilia, and other rare conditions

  • Capability to thrive in matrix organizations with structured project planning

  • High ethical integrity and compliance standards

  • Proficiency in multi-channel marketing and stakeholder engagement
