Role Summary
The Clinical Trial Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing clinical trials at the country level, ensuring timely and high-quality study execution from start-up to closure.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders at the country level.
Coordinate country cross-functional teams and collaborate with global study team members.
Oversee country-level study feasibility, target setting, and patient recruitment strategy.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
Manage local vendors, including investigator site contracts and budgets.
Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Validate study-related materials and oversee Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
Lead site initiation visits, study team meetings, and monitor site relationships.
Ensure inspection readiness and support health authority inspections.
Manage financial and contractual processes, including study budgets and agreements.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of industry-related experience in clinical trial management.
Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and country-specific regulations.
Experience working in cross-functional teams with proven leadership capabilities.
Knowledge of clinical trial systems such as CTMS, eDC, and eTMF.
