Job Description:

As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in market research projects, responsible for tasks ranging from data collection tool development to project management, data analysis, and preparing client presentations. This role requires a balance of independent work and collaboration with team members across various levels of experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft and test online data collection tools.
  • Format surveys and discussion guides.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews, preparing files for transcription.
  • Manage project timelines, provide status reports, resolve issues with survey fielding, and serve as liaison with Operations or outside recruiters.
  • Code qualitative primary and secondary data.
  • Clean and prepare data in Q professional and/or Excel.
  • Analyze data using Q professional.
  • Identify key data findings.
  • Conduct secondary research to meet research objectives.
  • Author sections of final reports and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Respond to client phone calls and inquiries regarding research projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Expectations for the Job:

  • Availability: Full-time, Monday through Friday (No travel required). Expect frequent team calls late in the day (India time).
  • Independent Work: Manage your time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Proactively seek information, solve problems, and make decisions within your scope of responsibility.
  • Virtual Team Collaboration: Be comfortable using communication tools such as video conferencing and instant messaging to work with virtual teams across different time zones. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to changing project requirements and team dynamics, while maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
  • Communication: Maintain clear, concise, and timely communication with the team, keeping everyone informed of progress, challenges, and support needs.
  • Accountability: Take ownership of your work, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results. Proactively address any issues that may impact task completion.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • B.S./B.A. in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts, research methods, and design.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Must be a team player, comfortable interacting with staff at all levels.
  • A genuine interest in professional growth and development.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).

Qualifications:

  • Experience with statistical software such as Q, SPSS, or SAS is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in market research, pharmaceutical, or medical industry-related roles preferred.
