Your Role:

You’ll be responsible for transferring new products, driving technical improvements like site expansion project management, and leading new product transfers. This includes hazard analysis of new products, material localization, designing and installing new processes & equipment, and ensuring product readiness for commercial launch.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing new projects to meet milestones on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Handling technical aspects such as drawing/BOM/TP preparation, SOP/work instruction development, and manufacturing data in SAP.
  • Managing technical transfer of down-filling and manufacturing technology from global plants to meet production/customer demand.
  • Leading continuous improvement projects that focus on cost savings, quality enhancements, and automation.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (ISO, EHS, etc.) for new products and processes.
  • Collaborating with PSM & quality teams for raw material localization, supplier development, and improving material quality standards.
  • Acting as the project contact window for effective communication across site teams and functions.
  • Evaluating CAPEX needs and working with the E&T team and OEMs.
  • Supporting strategic plant-wide programs and activities.
  • Leading cross-functional meetings with global teams to ensure smooth product transfers, factoring in all compliance requirements.

Who You Are:

  • You have a B.E/M. Tech. (or equivalent), preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, with 10-12 years of experience in technical or manufacturing processes in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or chemical sectors.
  • You possess a strong technical background in new product transfers, project management, process improvement, and material localization.
  • You're skilled in Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and GMP.
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to innovation and quality.
