Position Summary:
As a Pharmacist at Walmart, you will provide expert pharmaceutical care to customers, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, patient counseling, and promoting health and wellness services. This role involves developing business solutions, improving customer service, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting a culture of safety and accuracy in patient care. You will lead and mentor associates, driving team performance while upholding Walmart’s core values of integrity, respect, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pharmaceutical Care: Accurately dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.
  • Customer Service: Provide guidance and support to customers on their health and medication needs. Resolve customer issues in line with company guidelines.
  • Leadership: Mentor pharmacy associates, enforce service standards, and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all state and federal regulations, ensuring patient safety, privacy, and proper documentation.
  • Quality Patient Care: Promote safety and quality in pharmaceutical care, addressing errors, promoting transparency, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Operational Support: Implement and monitor pharmacy compliance initiatives, billing procedures, and SOPs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage Range: $47.12 - $82.69

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
  • Pharmacy license upon job entry
  • Completion of ACPE Accredited Immunization training

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmacy leadership and compliance execution
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
