Location: Remote within Oregon/Washington

Salary Range: $40.22 - $59.93 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking a Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist to provide empathetic and evidence-based behavioral health care to Legacy Employees and their dependents (both adults and adolescents) through our telehealth platform. The therapist will work collaboratively with patients, primary care providers, and other behavioral health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with patients to address acute and ongoing behavioral health needs via remote platforms.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoanalysis.
  • Perform psychosocial evaluations to provide diagnostic impressions and develop treatment recommendations.
  • Create and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Utilize strong communication, active listening, and customer service skills to enhance patient interactions.
  • Complete and manage all required charting and documentation promptly, including diagnosis, CPT codes, and billing compliance.
  • Communicate clinical information to primary care providers (PCPs) using approved workflows.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of patient medical and behavioral health histories, including medications and allergies.
  • Engage in continuing education and assigned programs to stay current with best practices in psychotherapy and social work.
  • Demonstrate expertise in providing care suitable for adult patients and interpret information to identify and meet patient needs.
  • Follow established safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or activities.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of post-training experience required

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Active medical licensure in Oregon required (licensure in both Oregon and Washington preferred)
  • One of the following certifications required:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHT)

  • Must reside in Oregon or Washington
