Position Overview: Healthcare Virtual Assistant (Remote)
We are looking for a Healthcare Virtual Assistant to join our team immediately! This remote role provides essential support to healthcare providers by managing patient intake, appointments, insurance claims, and documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring that the administrative side of healthcare operations runs smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Virtual Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Documenting new patient and referral intake
Managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling for patients and healthcare providers
Inputting patient information, medical records (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), and billing data into EMR/EHR systems
Assisting with insurance claims processing, verifying patient insurance, and handling billing inquiries
Responding to patient inquiries, providing information, and directing them to the appropriate healthcare professional
Assisting in healthcare data analysis, report preparation, and record maintenance
Ensuring HIPAA compliance, patient confidentiality, and privacy regulations
Coordinating the sending of medical records to departments and healthcare providers as directed by the Managing Physician
Performing ad hoc administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:

A Bachelor’s degree in medical or pharmaceutical fields
At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) at a C1 level
A solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices
Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and troubleshooting common technical issues
A strong understanding of healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA compliance)
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Tech-savviness and familiarity with technologies like desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP
Ability to work on a graveyard shift

Technical Requirements

USB Headset with noise cancellation feature
Working Webcam
Main and backup computer: at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM
Main Internet Speed: at least 25 Mbps wired connection
Backup Internet Speed: at least 10 Mbps

Schedule

US work hours (20-40 hours per week)
This is a remote job

Salary Package (with HMO)

Entry Level (1-3 years of experience): Up to PHP 39,500
Intermediate Level (3-5 years of experience): Up to PHP 48,000
Expert Level (5+ years of experience): Up to PHP 53,000
