Overview:
AQuity Solutions is seeking Virtual Medical Scribes to join their team in providing real-time documentation support for physicians, ensuring accuracy and improving clinical workflow. This remote position allows you to work from home, partnering with medical providers to transcribe and document patient encounters during live consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively listen to live physician-patient conversations and document accurately.
Verify and communicate patient information with physicians.
Utilize EHR/EMR systems like Epic, Athena, Cerner, etc.
Ensure clinical documentation is accurate, aiding physicians in delivering quality care.
Transcribe physician-patient interactions into clear, concise medical records.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Medical Terminology: Recent clinical experience (medical assistant, transcriptionist) or college-level courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Typing Speed & Accuracy: Fast typing speed with a high level of accuracy.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to transcribe and understand various accents and dialects.
Availability: Flexibility to work uninterrupted 8-10 hour shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM (Monday-Friday). Part-time schedules range between 3-4 days a week, no more than 30 hours weekly. No evening/weekend hours available.
Technical Requirements: Secure internet connection, HIPAA-compliant workspace, and a personal computer compatible with Microsoft programs (company equipment is provided after training).
Additional Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish) scribes are preferred, though not required.
Ability to work in a remote setting, with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour (dependent on factors such as location, experience, etc.).
