Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telehealth/Virtual - Remote

About the Position

Are you a registered nurse seeking a flexible remote role that allows you to balance work with personal commitments? We have several full-time remote Virtual RN positions available for passionate nurses who are ready to use technology to provide exceptional patient care from the comfort of their home.


Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift
  • Mid-Shift
  • Night Shift
  • Training: 8 am to 4 pm (Eastern Time) during the first two weeks of clinical orientation.
  • Post-training schedules will vary depending on assigned clients.
  • Rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Block Scheduling with every other weekend.
  • Not self-scheduling.
  • Night and Weekend Premium Pay:
    • Night Shift: Extra $1.75/hr.
    • Weekend Day Shift: Extra $2.25/hr.
    • Weekend Night Shift: Extra $4.00/hr.
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) premium: Additional $2.00/hr for certified bilingual nurses.

Salary:

$31.00-$32.00/hr (based on experience) + Night/Weekend Premium Pay + Additional $2.00/hr for bilingual Spanish speakers (upon certification).


Work from Home Requirements:

  • Must have a wired high-speed internet connection (no Wi-Fi or satellite internet).
  • HIPAA-secure work environment with minimal noise and distractions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Assessment & Care Coordination:
    Review initial hospital admission and gather data from clients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
    Collaborate with physicians to address concerns and barriers to discharge, ensuring timely and effective discharge planning.

  • Patient Advocacy & Support:
    Address conflicts and resistance, advocating for patient needs and mobilizing resources for timely patient movement.

  • Department Operations:
    Actively participate in department meetings, operations, process improvement initiatives, and departmental goal setting.
    Contribute to the development of a care delivery system that is patient-centric and promotes effective resource utilization.

  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality policies and reporting requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Completion of a Registered Nurse program (BSN preferred).

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital inpatient setting (medical-surgical, PCCU, ED, ICU).
    • Broad clinical background strongly preferred.
    • Experience with Epic and/or Cerner is required.
  • License & Certification:

    • Valid, unrestricted RN license.
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Additional Skills:

    • Proficient in computer applications in a fast-paced environment.
    • Leadership skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
