Position Overview
The Trainer – RCM AR will be responsible for training new hires and leaders in AR processes, including denial management, billing, and accounts receivable operations. This role requires hands-on experience in medical billing, RCM AR processes, and training, with the ability to develop training materials and deliver effective sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive training sessions on AR calling, denial management, and medical billing processes.
Mentor and onboard new staff and leaders, ensuring smooth transition and readiness in AR operations.
Develop, maintain, and update training content, presentations, and manuals using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Articulate, and Adobe Weaver.
Provide structured feedback on trainee performance, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with Process Coaches, SMEs, and Team Leads to identify knowledge gaps and implement corrective actions.
Support transition activities, process updates, and system upgrades in the AR domain.
Ensure compliance with RCM policies, billing standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, process excellence, and operational improvement.
Required Qualifications
Education: Any Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: 3 – 5 years in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or AR processes, including experience as a Trainer, Process Coach, or Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of RCM processes, AR management, and denial handling.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and content development tools such as Articulate and Adobe Weaver.
Exposure to hospital billing or dental billing systems is a plus.
Behavioral Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to train, mentor, and guide teams in a structured and effective manner.
