Role Overview

Roche is seeking a Patient Journey Partner – Oncology to drive patient-centric engagement and improve access to innovative oncology therapies. This is a strategically embedded ecosystem role that integrates commercial, medical, and patient service capabilities to co-create sustainable healthcare solutions.

The Patient Journey Partner (PJP) acts as a single point of contact for key accounts and therapy area experts, ensuring alignment between Roche’s scientific expertise and real-world patient needs. This role focuses on accelerating treatment access, streamlining decision-making processes, and building strategic partnerships within public and private healthcare ecosystems.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced healthcare professionals with strong oncology market exposure and patient services expertise.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end relationships with top therapy area experts and key oncology stakeholders.

  • Identify ecosystem challenges, motivators, and unmet patient needs to design impactful solutions.

  • Serve as a single point of contact for priority public and private healthcare accounts across the state.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional and national oncology objectives.

  • Build strong relationships with hospital administrators, oncologists, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and decision-makers.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance patient access to Roche oncology innovations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to co-create solutions that optimize patient outcomes.

  • Identify business barriers within accounts and implement strategic interventions to improve treatment adoption.

  • Bring external ecosystem insights into Roche while leveraging internal scientific expertise to benefit stakeholders.


Educational Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related healthcare discipline.


Experience Required

  • Minimum 8+ years of overall professional experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Patient Services, Oncology Sales, Key Account Management, or similar patient-centric roles.

  • Strong exposure to oncology therapy area and hospital ecosystem engagement is preferred.
