Role Summary

Provide specialized expertise in oncology therapeutic areas (gastrointestinal oncology, melanoma, and gynecologic oncology) to a variety of medical customer segments across Southern California. Serve as a key bridge between internal Pfizer teams and external healthcare professionals.


Core Responsibilities

Field Medical Strategy & Engagement:

  • Plan and execute medical strategies tailored to Southern California stakeholders, in accordance with compliance standards Pfizer.

  • Stay updated on disease state knowledge and Pfizer medicines, serving as a trusted information source for both internal and external stakeholders Pfizer.

  • Collect and share insights from healthcare professionals, informing Pfizer’s strategies appropriately Pfizer.

  • Contribute to Medical Affairs content strategy and deliver aligned field tactics Pfizer.

  • Collaborate closely with HQ Medical teams and Medical Information to maintain consistent communication Pfizer.

Field Medical Role Responsibilities:

  • Present approved medical content on oncology topics (e.g., GI oncology, melanoma, gynecologic oncology) Pfizer.

  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from HCPs, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance Pfizer.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Educational Requirements:

    • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal degree (e.g., Doctor of Nursing Practice) with ≥5 years of relevant experience

    • Or MBA/MSc + ≥7 years of experience

    • Or Bachelor's degree + ≥8 years of experience Pfizer.

  • Recognized as a subject-matter expert by internal and external stakeholders Pfizer.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary (U.S.): $169,700 – $282,900 annually Pfizer.
