This position requires demonstrated experience managing full-service dermatology clinical trials.


Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager (or Project Manager, depending on experience) is accountable for successful delivery of dermatology clinical studies across quality, timelines, and budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee operational execution, manage sponsor relationships, and ensure that trials meet regulatory, procedural, and contractual standards.

This role is fully remote within the United States and requires eligibility to work without sponsorship.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Serve as the primary project-level liaison between the sponsor and internal teams.

  • Lead cross-functional study teams to meet project deliverables, performance standards, and financial targets.

  • Drive overall project delivery, including timelines, quality metrics, and cost controls.

  • Communicate project scope, expectations, and escalation pathways.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Manage project budgets, resource alignment, forecasting, and change management (Con Mod process).

  • Ensure clinical trial activities comply with ICH-GCP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and client directives.

  • Identify risks, lead mitigation strategies, and manage issue resolution at the project level.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with functional leads to ensure synchronized project execution.

  • Support regional or secondary project leads when multi-region or multi-vendor oversight is required.

  • Maintain transparent, regular communication with sponsors and internal teams.

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain adherence to internal processes and industry regulations.

  • Drive RBQM (Risk-Based Quality Management) and issue resolution across all phases.

  • Ensure audit readiness and documentation accuracy across project deliverables.


Experience Level

  • Senior Project Manager:

    • 8+ years of relevant clinical research experience

    • 5+ years of project management or leadership experience

    • Proven track record delivering full-service dermatology clinical trials

  • Project Manager:

    • Comparable clinical research experience with strong dermatology study oversight

    • Demonstrated competency managing cross-functional teams and operational deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or healthcare discipline.

  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical development, regulatory requirements, and therapeutic area standards.

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

  • Advanced competency with project management principles (Time, Quality, Cost).

  • Proficiency with project management and clinical systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity, MS Office Suite).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Ability to prioritize efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.

  • Ability to travel as required.
