About the Role

The Technologist, R&D position offers a strong opportunity to contribute to innovative healthcare solutions that enhance patient outcomes. As part of Baxter’s global Research and Development organization, you will support technical activities, perform hands-on testing, and assist senior engineers and technicians in developing products that save and sustain lives.

This role is ideal for candidates with foundational technical experience who are looking to expand their skills within a leading healthcare organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned technical tasks with guidance from senior team members.

  • Apply technical skills to troubleshoot, test, and support development activities.

  • Conduct hands-on testing using handheld and bench equipment to collect precise data.

  • Maintain accurate documentation following established documentation practices.

  • Participate in day-to-day R&D operations and contribute observations and recommendations.

  • Work within defined technical disciplines while learning new tools, methods, and engineering concepts.

  • Provide clear, consistent reporting on product and process measurements.

  • Seek input from experienced engineers to continually improve deliverables and output quality.


Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience (required).

  • Minimum 2 years of technical experience in an engineering, testing, or R&D support role.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.

  • Solid problem-solving skills and adaptability in changing technical conditions.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated curiosity about technology, products, and industry advancements.


Compensation

Estimated base salary range: USD 64,000 to USD 88,000 annually
Final compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and geographic location. Additional discretionary bonuses may also apply.
