Overview

Genmab, a global biotechnology leader, is offering a 10-week summer internship for a highly motivated student to join the Omnichannel Data Enablement team. This role provides hands-on experience in data-driven marketing and omnichannel strategy, supporting campaigns that reach healthcare professionals, patients, and care partners across email, web, media, and field sales channels.

The internship is ideal for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields, with an interest in data analytics, digital marketing, and customer engagement strategies. You will gain exposure to marketing data platforms, omnichannel journey mapping, and first-party data strategy in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.


Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy Development:

  • Support the creation of first-party data strategies that can be applied across multiple customer types.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage data for enhanced targeting, automation, and campaign personalization.

Omnichannel Journey Mapping:

  • Develop omnichannel journey maps identifying key touchpoints and triggers that influence customer value.

  • Support multi-channel campaign planning and execution.

Data Analysis & Standardization:

  • Analyze data from various sources to enable rapid activation and improved segmentation.

  • Identify standardization opportunities to enhance targeting efficiency and automation.

  • Generate insights to support key marketing initiatives and brand priorities.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners.

  • Support reporting, presentations, and documentation of campaign performance.


Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated interest in data-driven marketing or omnichannel campaign execution.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and data analysis tools (SQL, reporting platforms).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, omnichannel campaigns, and website management.

  • Coursework or experience in campaign development, brand strategy, advertising, or promotional content execution.

  • Exposure to marketing technology platforms is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights for actionable recommendations.


Internship Details

  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite in Princeton, NJ; 2 days remote per week.

  • Eligibility: Open to Bachelor’s or Master’s students; not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Experience: Gain practical exposure to data-driven marketing, omnichannel strategy, and campaign execution in the pharmaceutical sector.
