Overview

Genmab, a global biotechnology leader specializing in innovative antibody therapeutics, is seeking a motivated Evidence Generation Intern to support its drug development and medical affairs initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience with investigator-driven programs, collaborative research trials, and managed access programs, offering practical exposure to the operational and strategic aspects of clinical evidence generation.

The role is ideal for students pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a scientific discipline who are eager to gain real-world experience in clinical research operations and medical affairs.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Support:

  • Assist in the successful implementation of Investigator-Driven and Managed Access Programs (ISTs, CRTs, and Individual/Protocol programs).

  • Support governance meetings to track program progress and deliverables.

  • Facilitate the management of study or program proposals from submission through study closure.

  • Ensure programs adhere to budgets, timelines, and operational standards.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to adjust and track project milestones.

  • Generate regular metrics and reports on program activities to support evidence generation objectives.

  • Contribute to team discussions on process improvements, best practices, and operational efficiencies.


Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a scientific field (life sciences, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, or related discipline).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality while managing multiple tasks.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of clinical research operations or medical affairs programs.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with mentors, colleagues, and stakeholders.


Internship Details

  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the Princeton office, 2 days remote per week.

  • Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students; not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Mentorship: Access to experienced professionals in medical affairs and evidence generation.

  • Hands-On Learning: Gain practical exposure to clinical study operations, program management, and medical evidence generation.
