Technical Application Project Manager – Bangalore

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather and prioritize product requirements aligned with customer needs and technical feasibility.

  • Shape backlog, define user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and facilitate release and sprint planning with stakeholders.

  • Lead the design and architecture of product systems, ensuring alignment with modern principles and compliance standards.

  • Manage security, privacy, and regulatory compliance of clinical trial systems.

  • Coordinate with internal and vendor teams to ensure smooth operational transitions and minimize disruptions.

  • Support system architecture, design/code reviews, and problem-solving within the development squad.

  • Track and resolve incident and problem tickets, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs.

  • Communicate timely status updates and escalations to stakeholders.

  • Lead validated system implementation following SDLC best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 6+ years.

  • Experience in clinical trial technologies, clinical pharmacology systems, and clinical data management.

  • Preferred Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).

  • Technical expertise in SAS, Python, Java, JIRA, AWS, and Azure cloud platforms.

  • Familiarity with clinical pharmacology systems like NONMEM, Phoenix, NCA, R, Altair/Grid computing, Matlab, Monolix, and data integration for analytics.

  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts in pharmaceutical environments.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
