Sr Technical Project Manager – Salem | Syneos Health
Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technical projects in a high-paced, cross-functional environment. Based in Salem, this role requires 8+ years of project management experience, strong SDLC knowledge, agile methodologies, and the ability to drive product delivery across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle execution of large-scale technical projects
Manage development sprints, resources, and stakeholder communications
Enforce Agile/Scrum methodologies for optimized project workflows
Align cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and timelines
Ensure timely risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution
Oversee technical documentation, training strategies, and resource acquisition
Generate status reports and track project KPIs for weekly/monthly review
Review team progress and mentor junior staff on project deliverables
Facilitate collaboration with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and client stakeholders
Host technical team meetings to monitor delivery goals and problem-solving
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in technical project management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Deep knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum methodologies
Hands-on experience with JIRA, story sizing, sprint planning
Proven ability to manage matrix projects in tech-heavy environments
Strong facilitation, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
PMP certification preferred
Background in CRO, pharma, or finance tech is a plus
