Job Title: Pharmacovigilance Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Manage case triage, quality check, data entry, and other administrative duties related to pharmacovigilance activities
  • Ensure smooth execution of all pharmacovigilance (PV) activities, whether performed onsite or offsite
  • Provide guidance and supervision to onsite PV teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery of tasks
  • Ensure all client requests are completed within the specified deadlines
  • Clarify any ambiguous client updates and address information gaps
  • Maintain smooth communication between the client and the offshore team

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance, including individual case triage or quality control (QC)
  • Expertise in processing pharmacovigilance activities such as quality control, individual case safety reports (ICSR) management, and specific report generation
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, GVP/GPSP Ministerial Ordinance, and other related regulations
  • Native level proficiency in Japanese with a good understanding of the English language

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to train team members
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information logically and understandably
  • Experience in handling client inquiries and managing client relationships
