Clinical Research Nurse II (RN or LPN) – Madison, WI (On-site)
Job Summary:
Are you an RN or LPN looking for a dynamic clinical role beyond traditional care settings? Join one of the world’s leading Clinical Research Organizations as a Clinical Research Nurse II at our Madison, WI Early Phase Research Unit. This on-site opportunity is ideal for nurses passionate about research, innovation, and making a global impact through early-phase clinical trials. You'll work with healthy volunteers, contribute to the safety and pharmacokinetics evaluation of new drugs, and see firsthand how treatments progress from lab to life-saving therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-standard nursing care in early-phase clinical trials
Measure and record vitals including BP, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
Perform venipuncture, ECGs, Holter monitoring, and sample collection
Ensure dietary compliance of participants as per study protocol
Assist in screening procedures and room/equipment preparation
Maintain a clean and compliant clinical environment
Follow strict protocol timelines to ensure data integrity and compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Active RN or LPN license in applicable state
CPR/AED certification (mandatory)
ACLS certification
2–3 years nursing experience (clinical or research preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, electronic data capture environment
Strong prioritization, adaptability, and teamwork skills
