Clinical Research Nurse II (RN or LPN) – Madison, WI (On-site)

Job Summary:

Join one of the world’s leading Clinical Research Organizations as a Clinical Research Nurse II at our Madison, WI Early Phase Research Unit. This on-site opportunity is ideal for nurses passionate about research, innovation, and making a global impact through early-phase clinical trials. You'll work with healthy volunteers, contribute to the safety and pharmacokinetics evaluation of new drugs, and see firsthand how treatments progress from lab to life-saving therapies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-standard nursing care in early-phase clinical trials

  • Measure and record vitals including BP, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate

  • Perform venipuncture, ECGs, Holter monitoring, and sample collection

  • Ensure dietary compliance of participants as per study protocol

  • Assist in screening procedures and room/equipment preparation

  • Maintain a clean and compliant clinical environment

  • Follow strict protocol timelines to ensure data integrity and compliance


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

  • Active RN or LPN license in applicable state

  • CPR/AED certification (mandatory)

  • ACLS certification

  • 2–3 years nursing experience (clinical or research preferred)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, electronic data capture environment

  • Strong prioritization, adaptability, and teamwork skills
