Job Summary:

Join Fortrea, a leading global CRO, as a Patient Safety Specialist I supporting clinical trials and post-marketing activities across diverse therapeutic areas. This full-time remote position involves outbound outreach, AE data collection, MedDRA coding, and case processing in compliance with global pharmacovigilance standards. Ideal for experienced PV professionals looking to contribute to patient safety in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telephonic follow-ups with healthcare professionals and consumers for AE data collection

  • Review, process, and code adverse event reports from both clinical trials and spontaneous sources

  • Identify and follow up on missing or incomplete safety information

  • Input data into the Argus safety database and ensure compliance with regulatory timelines

  • Draft clear and concise patient safety narratives

  • Maintain high data quality standards and adhere to global PV regulations


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field

  • Minimum 4 years of pharmacovigilance experience, including US ICSR case processing

  • Strong verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Proficient in MedDRA coding and Argus safety database

  • Knowledge of global safety reporting requirements and ICH guidelines

  • Experience in AE follow-up via phone
