Job Title: Summer Student, Validation

Location: Kirkland, QC
Position Type: Full-time Summer Internship (37.5 hours per week)

This summer, we are seeking a motivated Summer Student to join our Validation team and contribute to our mission.

Position Overview:
As a Summer Student in Validation, you will work closely with the Validation team to support the creation and analysis of performance reports, contribute to process improvements, and help identify and resolve validation issues. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the validation process within a dynamic and growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed Performance Analysis:
    Assist in the preparation of comprehensive annual performance review reports for equipment, ensuring that all details are carefully analyzed and documented.

  • Process Improvement:
    Contribute to the evaluation of manufacturing processes by generating reports that highlight key performance metrics and suggest areas for continuous improvement.

  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
    Identify and analyze abnormalities or discrepancies in validation reports. Provide clear, actionable recommendations for improving equipment and process performance.

  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background:
    Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with plans to return to your studies in Fall 2025.

  • Technical Skills:
    Strong computer and software skills, including experience with computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP) for operations and maintenance management.

  • Language Proficiency:
    Bilingual in English and French, with strong communication skills in both languages (written and spoken).

  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented:
    Ability to critically analyze data and reports with a focus on accuracy and detail. Comfortable working with complex data sets and technical documentation.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying issues and proposing effective solutions.

  • Availability:
    Able to commit to a full-time internship (37.5 hours per week) at our Kirkland, QC office for the duration of the summer.
