Job Title: Clinical Statistical Programmer - II (Associate)
Location: Remote (May require site visits once every 3 months)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Statistical Programmer II (Associate) to join our team remotely. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Data Analytics and the Outcomes Research team within Medical Affairs. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and delivering insights for internal research programs, including those related to Women’s Health, Established Brands, Biosimilars, and in-licensing opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Conduct internal data analysis for observational studies across the portfolio, including both developmental and commercialized products.
  • Protocol and SAP Development: Develop protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) to ensure proper study design, sample size, and statistical methods.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous QC processes and programming templates to ensure high-quality data and analysis.
  • Statistical Reporting: Generate tables, listings, and figures for publications, presentations, and internal use. Communicate findings to stakeholders and support research projects for congress and manuscript submissions.
  • Independent Work: Meet deadlines with minimal supervision and effectively translate statistical information.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH, PharmD) is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of SAS programming experience and 2 years of hands-on experience with real-world studies using large claims/EMR databases in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR).
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in SAS programming; experience with R and Python is desirable.
    • Extensive experience with US insurance claims databases, electronic medical records, and registry databases (e.g., Optum, Premier, Marketscan, Humedica, IMSPharmetrics +, GEhealth, Flatiron).
    • Familiarity with Ex-US healthcare databases (e.g., THIN) and medical/billing coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC, NDC, HCPCS, CPT).
    • Experience with cloud and high-performance computing environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Publications: A record of publications is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of competitive analysis, real-world data expertise, and experience with market landscape and longitudinal studies.
  • Pharma industry experience and expertise in outcome research, including post-marketing studies and phase 4 trials.

Not Required:

  • Experience with Oracle, GCP/ICH guidelines, and clinical research is not relevant for this role.

Additional Information:

  • Remote Work: This position is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates on the East Coast.
  • Site Visits: Occasional site visits may be required approximately once every 3 months.
