Quality Auditor
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite with potential Hybrid after training)

Are you looking to transition your career into a Quality department role? Do you have significant experience in quality, auditing, or working within a regulated environment? Labcorp is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor to join our Quality department in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time, benefitted day position located at 8211 SciCor Drive.


Job Summary

As a Quality Auditor, you will be a key player in promoting a quality-driven culture within Central Laboratory Services. You'll conduct internal audits, interact with operational departments, and identify opportunities for improvement across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits according to applicable standards.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement within the organization.
  • Act as a liaison between operational departments and the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and quality standards, and provide guidance.
  • Deliver training to QA teams and create local procedures.
  • Support client audit hosts during audits.
  • Train auditors on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or a regulated environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a medical, technical, or laboratory-related science.
  • Strong experience with internal audits and working within a regulated quality system.
  • Ability to influence changes and collaborate with teams across various departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Covance-specific databases.
  • Formal GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) training.
  • Participation in external continuing education in quality assurance-related sessions.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel within the country and region for meetings, audits, and training.
