Job Description:

Purpose:

The Clinical Project Statistician collaborates with physicians and medical teams to develop clinical trial designs, protocols, and data analysis plans. They are responsible for establishing reporting databases, analyzing study data, and ensuring the application of proper statistical methods.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Statistical Trial Design and Analysis:

    • Work with study teams to provide input on study protocols and designs.

    • Select statistical methods for data analysis, write relevant protocol sections, and perform analyses.

    • Collaborate with data management for the implementation of data quality assurance.

    • Stay updated on statistical methodologies and apply new techniques as needed.

  2. Communication of Results:

    • Collaborate with team members to write reports and communicate study results.

    • Assist with communicating results through regulatory submissions, publications, and presentations.

    • Respond to regulatory queries and interact with regulators.

  3. Therapeutic Area Knowledge:

    • Develop a strong understanding of the disease areas to enhance customer collaboration and scientific contributions.

  4. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all work is in full compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and procedures.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: More than 3 years of relevant experience.


Other Skills & Preferences:

  • Proficient in SAS programming.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective customer consultation.

  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities.

  • Technical knowledge in experimental design and statistics.

  • Ability to manage resources, solve problems, and think strategically.
