Role Overview

The Clinical Studies Support Coordinator III plays a key role in supporting clinical operations, data quality, documentation management, and study coordination activities across assigned clinical programs. This position requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage non-routine tasks with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Clinical Data Support & Testing

  • Perform Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for clinical study databases and reports, including platforms such as Medidata Rave.

  • Contribute to the development and testing of case report forms (CRFs), study databases, and study reports based on protocol guidelines.

Data Coordination & Quality Management

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of data forms.

  • Verify clinical study data and manage data discrepancies through generation, tracking, and resolution.

  • Process compensation payments and identify or resolve discrepancies when required.

Documentation & Study File Management

  • Create, organize and maintain clinical study files.

  • Oversee distribution and version control of clinical documentation.

  • Assist in periodic audits to ensure complete and accurate study records.

Administrative & Office Support

  • Provide operational support across the team, including non-routine administrative tasks and support for special projects.

  • Train and guide junior team members within the clinical support function.

Works with limited supervision and independently handles moderately complex tasks. Provides support and training to junior staff.

Contributes significantly to daily clinical operations, ensuring timely delivery of study objectives and data accuracy.

Identifies opportunities for small-process improvements and proposes solutions for review by management.

Communicates professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Handles information requiring interpretation or clarification.

Knowledge & Experience

Requires broad practical knowledge of clinical operations, documentation practices, and data management processes, gained through extensive experience or advanced education.
