Job Overview

Clario is seeking an experienced Study Release Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of clinical study software across multiple environments. This role is critical to ensuring seamless study releases, system stability, and successful integrations that support global clinical trial execution.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in server environments, databases, and deployment processes, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy clinical study software across Development, Staging, UAT, and Production environments

  • Support, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues during implementation, deployment, and post-deployment phases

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate configuration, installation qualification, and release documentation

  • Execute and manage SQL scripts as part of clinical study release activities

  • Configure and maintain web servers to support study deployments

  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, SOPs, and best practices

  • Mentor and train new team members to strengthen team capabilities

  • Support managers in developing technical training materials, internal checklists, and process improvements

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance release efficiency and system reliability

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft server operating systems, IIS, .NET, and Apache Tomcat applications

  • Strong working knowledge of VMWare, load balancers, and firewall configurations

  • Minimum 2 years of experience writing and executing SQL scripts against relational database systems

  • Experience with configuration management, release automation tools, and scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl, Bash, or Python

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment
