Reporting To:

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Act as a specialist professional individual contributor with comprehensive expertise in Medical Affairs.
  • Execute highly complex or specialized projects within the domain, ensuring scientific integrity and compliance.
  • Adapt precedent and develop innovative solutions, making significant departures from traditional approaches when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scientific Leadership: Provide expert medical/scientific advice on assigned therapeutic areas and products.
  • Medical Strategy Execution: Support the development and implementation of medical strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Clinical Research Oversight: Oversee and contribute to clinical research projects, including post-marketing studies, Phase III & IV trials, and investigator-initiated studies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and academic institutions.
  • Medical Education & Training: Conduct scientific presentations, medical education sessions, and internal training programs.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure adherence to national and international regulations, industry codes, and internal policies in all medical and promotional activities.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze scientific trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to provide insights for strategic planning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with medical, regulatory, marketing, and sales teams to support scientific communication and product positioning.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualification: MBBS/MD/PhD/MPharm or equivalent medical degree.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, preferably within the pharmaceutical or nutrition industry.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines.
