Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Medical Copy Writer to create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for healthcare and pharmaceutical audiences. This role requires translating complex scientific and medical information into clear, compelling messaging for multiple platforms, including websites, blogs, eDetailers, social media, and email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in content strategy, editing, and medical communications, ensuring both scientific accuracy and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute content strategies aligned with short-term and long-term goals.
Collaborate with product, catalog, and marketing teams to plan and create medical and promotional content.
Write, edit, proofread, and optimize content to meet brand standards and SEO guidelines.
Ensure consistency of tone, style, and voice across all content channels.
Monitor content performance using web analytics and adjust strategies for maximum engagement.
Maintain an editorial calendar and manage deadlines for content production.
Generate innovative ideas to increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
Define and maintain the brand voice across all digital and print channels.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical copywriting, content management, or blog writing, preferably in pharma or healthcare domains.
Proven experience with SEO and content analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in using content management systems (CMS) to analyze and optimize content.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in advertising agencies, healthcare communications, or pharmaceutical marketing.
Knowledge of medical and regulatory guidelines for pharma content.
Ability to simplify complex medical concepts for diverse audiences.
