As a Senior Manager – Patient and Medical Analytics SME, you will play a strategic leadership role in delivering high-impact patient analytics and real-world evidence (RWE) solutions for global pharmaceutical clients. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare data, advanced analytics, and commercial strategy, supporting informed decision-making across medical affairs, market access, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) leading patient and medical analytics engagements for global pharmaceutical clients.

  • Understand client objectives related to patient outcomes, treatment adherence, access, and disease management pathways.

  • Design and implement robust analytical frameworks for patient journey mapping, treatment sequencing, drop-off analysis, and outcomes measurement.

  • Evaluate, integrate, and analyze diverse real-world data sources including claims data, EMR/EHR, laboratory data, registries, and patient-reported outcomes.

  • Apply advanced analytics and statistical methodologies to uncover insights related to disease progression, therapy adoption, unmet needs, and population segmentation.

  • Support Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and RWE initiatives with strong data governance and methodological rigor.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, medical, analytics, and technology teams to translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Ensure strict adherence to data privacy regulations and compliance standards, including HIPAA and GDPR.

  • Build reusable analytics assets, frameworks, and accelerators to scale patient analytics capabilities.

  • Support business development through client solutioning, proposals, and thought leadership contributions such as whitepapers and webinars.

  • Mentor and guide analytics teams while contributing to internal capability development.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in patient analytics, medical analytics, or real-world data analysis within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Strong expertise in real-world data (RWD) sources and their application in medical, commercial, and market access strategies.

  • Proven experience in patient journey analytics, adherence studies, outcomes research, and longitudinal data analysis.

  • Hands-on familiarity with analytics tools and platforms such as SAS, R, Python, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar environments.

  • Deep understanding of therapeutic areas and disease-specific data complexities.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into strategic business insights.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive leadership mindset.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, global, and matrixed organizational environments.
