About the Role:
ClinChoice, a global full-service CRO, is seeking a Senior RWE Statistician Consultant with expertise in R programming to support real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives for a leading pharmaceutical client. This client-facing role provides the unique combination of working directly with a single sponsor while enjoying the professional development, global exposure, and support of a leading CRO.
As a Senior RWE Statistician, you will leverage your expertise in statistical analysis, real-world data (RWD), and advanced analytics to deliver high-quality insights that support research and development objectives. You will work collaboratively with scientists, research analysts, and other stakeholders across diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop study protocols, statistical analysis plans (SAPs), and analysis-ready datasets, including tables and figures.
Program and analyze real-world data sources, such as claims, electronic health records (EHR), and registries.
Contribute to RWE project portfolios, including disease identification, patient stratification, disease progression analysis, clustering, and simulations.
Integrate RWD with epidemiological methodologies, AI/ML analytics, and digital solutions to answer complex research questions.
Analyze data to address urgent requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in process improvement and innovation initiatives within the department.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all research activities.
Required Qualifications:
PhD in a quantitative field, such as epidemiology, biostatistics, health outcomes, or related disciplines.
Extensive experience in data engineering, exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, time-to-event analysis, comparative effectiveness, and causal inference methods.
End-to-end experience in RWE study execution, including study design, data feasibility assessment, analysis, programming, and result interpretation.
Expert proficiency in R and SQL programming.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in biopharmaceutical companies, RWE consulting, or healthcare industry settings.
Familiarity with predictive analytics, machine learning, deep learning, or forecasting techniques.
Exposure to drug discovery and clinical development, particularly in therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, or neuroscience.
