Role Overview

The Amyloidosis Multi-Disciplinary Specialist (AMS) is responsible for engaging healthcare providers (HCPs) across multiple specialties (e.g., hematology/oncology, cardiology, neurology, primary care) to raise awareness of ATTR-CM disease. Reporting to the Area Business Manager (ABM), the AMS will develop and execute business plans, educate stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams to drive patient recognition and accelerate new patient starts.


Key Responsibilities

Account Planning and Collaboration

  • Develop territory business objectives and key performance metrics aligned with brand goals.
  • Utilize customer data and insights to inform prioritization and decision-making.
  • Maintain updated customer profiles and refine call planning to optimize scheduling.

Hybrid Execution and Advanced Selling

  • Demonstrate advanced selling skills and adapt messaging based on customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Utilize approved brand messaging to align with customer priorities and provide tailored solutions.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to connect Pfizer resources to patient needs.
  • Educate customers on ATTR-CM disease, diagnostic procedures, and Pfizer's Vyndamax clinical profile.

Coordination and Team Collaboration

  • Partner with internal customer-facing teams to elevate the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to meet customer needs effectively.

Business Acumen

  • Gather insights from customers and evaluate market dynamics to anticipate business opportunities.
  • Apply insights in local planning and prioritize resources to meet customer needs.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of experience OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5–10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute territory business plans and assess customer needs.

Skills and Expertise

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical skills with experience applying customer insights to sales planning.
  • Understanding of the complexities of local healthcare ecosystems.
  • Adherence to corporate policies and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in rare disease and/or specialty areas (cardiology, hematology-oncology, neurology).
  • Product launch experience.
  • Hospital sales experience, including working with large academic centers and hospital systems.

Physical and Work Requirements

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a compliant driving record.
  • Ability to travel domestically (2–3 overnights per month).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $96,700–$217,000.
  • Incentives: Quarterly sales incentive bonus.
