Compensation: $140,000 - $190,000 + bonus and full relocation package if necessary

Job Title: Senior Clinical Supplies Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive clinical supply strategies to support multiple clinical trials and research initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate the planning, sourcing, packaging, labeling, and distribution of clinical trial materials.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the highest quality and cost-effectiveness of clinical supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage supply chain risks to prevent disruptions in clinical trial timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Analyze clinical supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the clinical supplies team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on clinical supply status, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical supply chain management, with a focus on the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record of successful vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
