About the Role:

As a Senior Biostatistician I at ICON, you’ll join a globally renowned clinical research organization leveraging healthcare intelligence to drive innovation. This role plays a critical part in the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trials and supports regulatory submissions with advanced statistical expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and analysis of clinical trials using advanced statistical methodologies.

  • Contribute to the development of statistical strategies at the study level, often shared with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Author statistical analysis plans and provide inputs to critical trial documents and presentations.

  • Use a wide range of statistical software and approaches to evaluate trial data.

  • Anticipate and proactively solve problems related to statistical deliverables or study execution, escalating where necessary.

  • Collaborate effectively in matrix team environments, contributing to discussions and decision-making.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in clinical biostatistics.

  • Proficiency in SAS programming, particularly with regulatory submission experience.

  • Ability to independently perform Study Statistician responsibilities with minimal supervision.

  • Solid understanding of complex statistical methods including:

    • Bayesian analysis

    • Futility & Predictive Inference

    • Estimands

    • Missing Data techniques

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and functions.
