At Sanofi’s Hyderabad Hub, you will contribute to groundbreaking innovations across departments. As a Senior Biomarker Biostatistician, you’ll apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to complex biomarker datasets to support clinical research and data-driven insights. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize data accessibility and reliability.
Provide expert input on biomarker design for clinical studies including protocol development.
Ensure effective setup and data capture strategies to support statistical analysis.
Coordinate with CROs and external partners for biomarker data generation and statistical activities.
Pre-process and normalize complex biomarker data types (e.g., RNAseq, scRNAseq, Olink, flow cytometry).
Define and review derived variables and quality control documentation with programming teams.
Execute or coordinate biomarker statistical analyses and validate results per Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP).
Contribute to Clinical Study Reports (CSR) and publications with statistically sound insights.
Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc biomarker data analyses to support study or project goals.
Master’s degree with 2+ years experience OR Ph.D. with 1+ year experience in pharmaceutical or related industry.
Understanding of clinical development processes in pharmaceuticals.
Strong knowledge of high-dimensional statistics and complex biomarker data handling.
Experience with omics data (RNAseq, scRNAseq, Olink, flow cytometry).
Skills in statistical computing environments (e.g., R, R-Shiny); additional knowledge of Python or C++ is a plus.
Pathway-level and network analyses experience is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented and comfortable in global settings.
Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
Excellent written and spoken English.
