Senior Statistical Programmer – SDTM, ADAM, TLF (Remote, India)
Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring a Senior Statistical Programmer to support global clinical trial analytics and reporting. This remote role is ideal for experienced SAS programmers (5+ years) with expertise in SDTM, ADaM, and TLF programming. The role includes developing validated statistical outputs, collaborating with biostatisticians, and contributing to regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop summary tables, listings, graphs, and derived datasets using SAS or related tools
Execute programming in compliance with CDISC standards (SDTM & ADaM) and statistical analysis plans
Perform validation programming and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with project teams
Maintain accurate and inspection-ready documentation and quality control records
Lead programming efforts and direct junior programmers across multiple clinical projects
Review statistical documents, mock shells, CRFs, and provide detailed programming input
Participate in sponsor meetings and internal team discussions as a statistical programming lead
Support training initiatives by mentoring junior programmers and developing training content
Track timelines, deliverables, and proactively address delays or issues
Contribute to continuous process improvement within the programming function
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in clinical SAS programming
Proficient in Base SAS and Advanced SAS
Hands-on expertise with SDTM, ADaM datasets, and TLF generation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred experience with R programming
Ability to work independently across concurrent global projects
Familiarity with ICH guidelines, FDA submission standards, CDISC requirements
