Clinical Operations Specialist – Remote (India)

Job Summary:

Syneos Health is hiring a Clinical Operations Specialist to support global clinical research studies from a remote location in India. This role plays a vital part in ensuring regulatory compliance, subject safety, and successful coordination of trial operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and wellbeing of clinical trial subjects by upholding medical and operational standards

  • Review and implement study protocols in line with GCP and global regulatory requirements

  • Recruit and coordinate communication with clinical trial volunteers and patients

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare study materials such as consent forms and manuals

  • Monitor study progress, proactively resolve issues, and ensure compliance

  • Perform administrative and organizational support tasks as needed

  • Adapt to operational deviations and maintain flexibility in workflows

  • Apply broad knowledge of clinical operations to improve study efficiency


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical operations or clinical research coordination

  • Solid understanding of clinical research protocols and regulatory frameworks

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical trial management systems (CTMS)

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment


Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or equivalent

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
