Job Overview

The SCM Specialist – Labeling and Artwork Management is responsible for the end-to-end creation, revision, execution, and lifecycle management of labeling and artwork activities for assigned products or therapeutic areas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, supply continuity, and operational excellence within a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute planned artwork revisions and updates for assigned product portfolios or regions.

  • Manage end-to-end artwork development and maintenance activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and stakeholders, in alignment with approved SOPs.

  • Drive artwork change management using a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, supply chain operations, and manufacturing environments.

  • Prioritize and manage artwork activities within the assigned portfolio to ensure uninterrupted product supply.

  • Contribute to cross-functional change control processes, including:

    • Change Control of Text and/or Artwork (CCTA)

    • SPD Change Control

    • CMC-related change initiatives

  • Support product launches and ongoing product lifecycle management (PLM) activities related to labeling, packaging, and artwork.

  • Assist with training activities, document control, deviation handling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support and maintain Labeling Management Group (LMG) business systems, including Artwork Management Systems, agency coordination, and data management tools.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in artwork management, labeling operations, or change control within a GMP/GxP-regulated environment.

  • Relevant experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing will be considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Sound knowledge of packaging, labeling, and printing processes within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Experience working with Artwork Management Systems and external artwork agencies.

  • Understanding of global regulatory and compliance requirements impacting labeling and packaging.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

  • Strong documentation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
