🧩 About the Team
Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is a global internal resource organization that centralizes key processes across Sanofi’s business units, including Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, Contract Manufacturing, R&D, and Digital functions.
SBO partners strategically with Medical, HEVA, and Commercial teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and compliant outputs that drive Sanofi’s global success.
🎯 Main Responsibilities
✍️ Content Creation & Development
Create specialized scientific and medical content with limited supervision.
Support end-to-end publication and medical education material development, including documentation and approval via PromoMats/iEnvision (formerly Datavision/MATRIX).
Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise to ensure scientifically accurate and impactful materials.
👥 People & Collaboration
Build effective relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders within assigned business units.
Engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) for publication content development.
Mentor and assist other writers to enhance their scientific and content development skills.
📈 Performance & Delivery
Deliver high-quality publications and medical education materials (e.g., abstracts, posters, slide decks, manuscripts) within agreed timelines.
Provide strategic publication support by collaborating with individuals and institutions that contribute to Sanofi’s scientific communications.
⚙️ Process & Quality
Develop and review complex publication materials as per scientific communication strategy.
Support medical communication planning and develop subject matter expertise for assigned therapeutic areas.
Conduct publication-need analysis and implement annual publication plans.
Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and compliant project execution.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve publication quality and effectiveness.
🤝 Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with Scientific Communication Teams across regions to identify publication requirements.
Work with Product Managers, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and Medical Affairs to create tailored, impactful content.
🧑🔬 About You
🎓 Education
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related discipline, or a Medical degree.
💼 Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in scientific or medical content creation within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or academic sector.
🧠 Technical Skills
Expertise in therapeutic area content, publication processes, and/or project management.
Familiarity with PromoMats/iEnvision or other publication management systems.
💬 Soft Skills
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
🌐 Languages
Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
