Safety Database Specialist
Location: Navi Mumbai, India

Job Description:
Medpace is hiring a Safety Database Specialist to support our growing Clinical Safety operations. This critical role involves configuration and maintenance of Argus safety databases, supporting report generation, training users, and ensuring system compliance for global pharmacovigilance and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain product, study, and license information in Argus and Argus J systems.

  • Assist in generating reports using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) tools.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve safety database-related issues effectively.

  • Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for safety system changes.

  • Support training sessions for new users of the Argus database.

  • Generate outputs from global safety systems to support periodic safety reports (DSUR, PSUR, PBRER).

  • Contribute to the creation of system support documentation, SOPs, manuals, and work instructions.

  • Assist during inspections and audits by providing system-related support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific Discipline, Business Informatics, or a similar field.

  • 1–2 years of direct experience in a related role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proficiency in Argus/Argus J safety database systems.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL and OBIEE reporting tools.

  • Ability to configure studies and safety data within Argus.

  • Strong client service orientation and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to blend technical and business acumen for optimal solutions.
